Online Writing Class -- Teens Write for Teens

TEENS WRITE FOR TEENS -- A LYONS free drop-in class Tuesday nights at 6:30 PM.

It’s never too early to learn how to craft compelling stories and poems. If you are a teenager and have an interest in writing, or in using words to move and motivate others, then join me and other teens Tuesday nights at 6:30 PM at the LYONS hall, starting January 22nd.

This six week course will teach students what makes stories great, and will develop one's workshop skills by getting and giving feedback on three stories or chapters, and by receiving experienced editorial analysis from Ann. We’ll also discuss the business of writing, focusing on markets that are looking for submissions from teen writers. This will be a great opportunity to nourish the writer within, and to give him/her the respect and support he/she deserves. Writing isn’t easy, but with determination anyone can do it.

If you are interested in participating in the six week class please contact Ann at ann@anngonzalez.com.

Ann Gonzalez, holds an MFA from the Whidbey Writers Workshop and her first young adult novel, Running for My Life, will be released by WestSide Books in spring of 2008.
